My name is Arya Salehi, the “self-awareness guy,” a regular guy with a simple mission: to facilitate growth in people and organizations. My story is essentially a shift in mindset from “what will they think?” to “what pleasure can I bring?”
I founded SeeingPotenial because I saw its potential. I’m also a fan of stupid jokes. I do several things: I write and speak on self-awareness. I coach people to align with their true purpose and lead positive change. Finally, I host events on Spoken Word Open Mic. I love humor and poetry.
I believe positive change starts with a clear “why.” It’s the substance that binds us and deep connections are built on empathy and trust. I also believe creativity is a kind of GPS for the soul which is at the core of SeeingPotential.
My background spans over seven years in design, education, and consulting. I have an M.A. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Alliant International University, and a B.S. in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego. I’m also certified in Expressive Arts Therapy as an approach to creative problem-solving.
